These musicians obviously not only have great fun playing together, one can obviously tell by listening to the title song we are dealing with extremely capable musicians, who do not shy away from a 7 /4. I was also struck by several fine improvisational solos, in particular the striking guitar solo and tasteful bass solos in Armando's Rumba.The bass player deserves an honorable mention for a beautiful full tone and together with the guitarist the result is a balanced rhythmic unit.
Well recorded, transparent and yet homogeneous.Add to this the melting Eastern European violin sound, the nostalgic vocal contributions and the breadth of the repertoire and you have the ingredients for a great hour of music.
Highly recommended!
